
Crown Burgers began in 1978 when Nick Katsanevas and brother-in law John Katzourakis converted a small hot-dog stand in downtown Salt Lake City into a burger joint. They struck gold right away: within weeks, locals were lining up for their signature pastrami-topped “Crown Burger.” The family expanded quickly as demand soared—and today several Katzourakis and Katsanevas family–run locations preserve that same focus on fresh, made‑to‑order comfort food.
